Alma Escondida (Performer)

Alma Escondida is the debut album of saxophonist and composer Sofía Carrasco, in which I participated as pianist, arranger, and artistic collaborator, and contributed the composition "Desvelos." Together, we explore the intersection of Afro-Peruvian and Andean traditions—particularly the Tunantada—with the language and format of the jazz quartet.

Las Flechas del Inca

This mixed choir composition is based on the poem Las Flechas del Inca by the Peruvian writer and anarchist Manuel González Prada. Inspired by the sound of the traditional Arequipeño Yaraví, the work combines this musical influence with a contemporary harmonic language to enhance the emotional intensity of the dialogue between the Inca hunter and his arrow. The piece was performed by C4: The Choral Composer/Conductor Collective, conducted by Jacob Lyon, at The Church of St. Luke in the Fields as part of the ensemble's concert program The Seventh Self.

Concierto para Orquesta N°1

Concierto para Orquesta is an original orchestral composition premiered in 2019 at Arequipa Resuena – 1st Edition in Arequipa, Peru. The work was performed by the Arequipa Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Enrique Victoria Obando. I composed this piece as a member of Opus XXI, exploring the expressive possibilities of the modern symphony orchestra through a contemporary musical language.

This composition was written during my master's studies at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).

Album Release Concert for Sofía Carrasco (Piano Performer)

This performance celebrated the release of Alma Escondida, the debut album of saxophonist and composer Sofía Carrasco, at Clement's Place. I performed as the pianist for the project, which also features several of my original compositions.

Variaciones de un Wititi

Variaciones de un Wititi is one of my compositions from the debut EP of D'Género, a band I co-founded in Arequipa, Peru. I performed on keyboards, drawing inspiration from the traditional Wititi music of the Colca Valley and blending its rhythmic and melodic elements with modern jazz grooves to create a contemporary musical dialogue.

Transcursos - Aldo Rojas

"Transcursos" is a chamber work for piano, clarinet, and violin by Peruvian composer Aldo Rojas. I had the honor of recording the piano part for this piece, which is featured on his album De Lejanías y Soledades.

Carlos Frías & Círculo Social (Pianist)

Performance with Carlos Frías & Círculo Social, presented by the Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies and Greg Burrus. I performed as the pianist with Bloomfield-based drummer Carlos Frías' ensemble, whose original music blends jazz, rock, and Latin rhythms into a distinctive contemporary sound.

Tinkunakama (Animation Film)

I co-wrote the original score for Tinkunakama, an animated short film by Peruvian artist Carmen Patricia Chávez. The film tells the story of Mishky, a cursed alpaca, and Pacha, a young Inca whose intertwined destinies unfold across the landscapes of Peru.
